What does it mean to be human? Look around, it is as diverse as there are people. Yet what do we all share as human beings who share identities which span across all sorts of spectrums?

All middle and high school students (completed 6th grade – 12th grade) are invited to join in a week of food and fun with a focus on Genesis 1 & 2. You are invited to wrestle, argue, question, doubt, hope and discern together with these particular pieces of poetry. In conversation around the table eating and reading, we will consider what might it mean to be created and human… to be created “good”. How do we think about food and eating? How might we love and seek the flourishing of life for not just all people but the whole world? Come as you are!
