Woodland Hunger Walk

Woodland is hosting our own Hunger Walk. We’ll start at the church and walk along Salado Creek Greenway. (Click the map to get a closer look at the route.)

Help us by praying for those who need food, by being a walker, or by sponsoring a walker.

To register for this family fun event, set up your fundraising campaign by clicking the Join Team button on this page and make a minimum $10 donation. For families of 3 or more make a minimum $25 donation.

  • 17% of the population is hungry or food insecure.
  • Texas is the second most food insecure state in the nation.
  • Texas has the highest food insecurity rate among children
  • San Antonio leads the state in the above categories with 230,000 people in need of food daily. One in four children struggles with food insecurity.
