Favorite Scripture
Here are two stories I’ve been thinking about lately:
Job – particularly Job 42:1-6
Jacob at the Jabbok – Genesis 32: 22-32
Favorite Hymn
“Praise my Soul, the King of Heaven” (Lauda Anima).
Anything from Vulfpeck and REM’s (hometown shoutout) “Murmur” record.
Worst job you've ever had, and what did you learn from it?
I worked for a very short time at a restaurant. The folks who worked there were lovely. I quickly gained a respect for food service workers but recognized I would never survive in that kind of work.
What advice would you give to your teenage self?
Laugh at yourself a little.
Are you musical?
I am! Love music. I play trumpet, piano, and have grown up singing. Performing, listening to, and enjoying the music world has been a love of mine since I was very little.
What is your favorite board game, card game, or table game?
Uno
Favorite place to eat in San Antonio
Still new to town, but La Fonda de Jaime 2.0 has killer tacos.
2M Smokehouse BBQ is good too.
Eclipse at Little Death is a lovely coffee shop. Go give Solomon your support!
Do you have any pets?
No pets (I’m a little allergic too).
