The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is an important partner in the life of Woodland Baptist Church. Through the CBF, Woodland contributes to mission efforts around the world. BCFS has been a leading foster care and adoption agency for more than 65 years. At the request of governments around the world, the organization has established health and human service programs that care for abused and neglected children, unite new or struggling families, and help those in need.

Baptist Joint Committee (BJC) is a Baptist Organization supporting religious liberty that Woodland supports with a small amount of funding annually.

Baptist News Global — An independent Baptist news service that Woodland supports with a small amount of funding annually.

Baptist University of the Americas (BUA), formerly Hispanic Baptist Theological Seminary. The mission of BUA, as an institution of higher education, is the formation, from the Hispanic context, of cross-cultural Christian leaders.

Baptist World Alliance (BWA) is a fellowship of 223 conventions and unions in 120 countries comprising 42 million members in 177,000 churches.

Children’s Emergency Relief International (CERI) a non-profit organization committed to helping hurting children around the world. CERI is an agency of the Baptist Child and Family Services (BCFS). Convencion: Bautista Hispana de Texas is the 3rd largest Latino Baptist Convention in the world. Convencion serves over 1,029 congregations in Texas.

The Christian Medical & Dental Association – San Antonio Chapter ministry involves healthcare professionals from the San Antonio metropolitan area and surrounding communities. The various ministries are overseen by a professional council of about 35 local healthcare professionals (physicians, dentists, pharmacists, student leaders). Both healthcare professionals and students participate in six border mission trips annually, offering free services primarily in the colonias along the Texas border. The ministry works closely with the dental school to provide the dental outreach. Additionally, both professionals and students participate in a summer week-long trip to Central America. Other local ministries include numerous student-led weekly Bible studies and several Side By Side groups for wives of local healthcare professionals and students.

The Baptist Student Ministry at UTSA is a student lead Christian organization that seeks to love and serve Jesus and love and serve people. BSM is a diverse body of students that aim to Connect others to Jesus, friends and the local church, Serve Christ and our campus and Grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and in community with one another.

Haven for Hope is a place of hope and new beginnings for people in Bexar County experiencing homelessness. It is made up of two major programs: the Courtyard and the Transformational Campus. Both are on the Haven for Hope property and require a visit to the Intake Department to get started. The Courtyard is a low-barrier safe sleeping program that offers shelter and basic needs. The Transformational Campus is a center that offers services and shelter with an emphasis toward addressing the root causes of homelessness.

I Care San Antonio provides complete eye care, including exams, glasses and surgeries, to low income and homeless children, adults and seniors, in San Antonio and the surrounding contiguous ten counties. The outreach mission includes providing healthcare in impoverished countries by co-sponsoring mission trips of Medical Ministry International, Canada.

Buckner is dedicated to the transformation and restoration of lives, delivering redemptive ministry to the most vulnerable from the beginning to the ending of life.
